This reflective paper explores from critical dis- course theory (Van Dijk, 1993b) such com- ponents of political speech above listed, the legitimate dominance that Governors and national parliamentary “fathers” so- cially asserted upon worker and common class from micro and macro-levels of dis- cursive lyrical structure. In this case, it will be decoded since the two first stanzas of Symphony of Destruction satirical song, written, composed and performed by Dave Mustain, leader of the Heavy Metal band Megadeth.
