Los procesos para inmovilizar enzimas han permitido mejorar, significativamente, la estabilidad y hacer posible el uso de estos biocatalizadores en aplicaciones analíticas como biosensores; médicas e industriales como química, farmacéutica, alimentaria y de tratamiento de residuos. Esta revisión presenta los diferentes métodos de inmovilización de enzimas, los efectos sobre las propiedades catalíticas y la aplicación de los biocatalizadores.
