Reflecting on the Colombian National Program of Bilingualism

Resumo

The globalized word requires the knowledge of a foreign language; in Colombia, the current government has conceived the inglish language as the language that opens frontiers and allows the cultural and economic exchange. Therefore, one of its policies is the Colombian National Program of Bilingualism. This article presents some theoretical reflections about the same program and its implications in the Boyacá's context.
